Proposing a New Fully Online Program or Certificate
Looking to create a new online program or convert an existing one? Our proposal process ensures your program:
Aligns with NJIT’s institutional goals
Meets rigorous online education standards
Offers an engaging and high-quality learning experience
How It Works
Our proposal process is divided into two phases:
1. Pre-Proposal
Submit a Pre-Proposal Form to outline the initial concept. This phase ensures alignment with strategic priorities and helps evaluate feasibility.
Please give a 2-3 week turnaround time, which depends on the volume of submissions. The pre-proposal will go through high level analysis of the data. If it aligns with institutional goals, applicants continue on to the next proposal phase.
2. Program Proposal
Develop a detailed program outline, including:
Proposed learning outcomes
Target audience
Curriculum structure and course carousel
Marketing and support needs
