Employability

EmployabilityNJIT graduates who have studied at our New Jersey campus are sought after by the nation’s major employers.  Now, online learners not just from New Jersey can see the same benefits by getting jobs in high-demand professions.  The university is known for educating serious, career-minded students who graduate into well-paying careers. A quarter of all engineers working in New Jersey are NJIT grads. And even given the recession, 125 companies recently attended NJIT’s Spring Career Fair to recruit students.  And because NJIT is a science and technology university, the salaries paid to its graduates are among the highest in the nation.

The Division of Career Development Services (CDS) provides a comprehensive approach to career management and preparing students for work place entry.  Through career advising, referral services, and experiential learning opportunities, students and alumni receive benefits that complement their academic progress and accomplishments. CDS is focused on providing employers with responsive service and candidates who are well prepared.
